  Curator's words
  从艺术史的角度来看，艺术的进步和发展，不但体现为主题、题材和内容的变化，也呈现为形式和风格的嬗变。其中，不断的创新是艺术发展的内在动力。From the perspective of art history,the progress and development of art is embodied not only in the change of theme,subject and content,but also in form and style.Among them,the constant innovation is the inner driving force of the development of art.
  对艺术创作而言，创新有两个基本含义，其一，创新是打碎日常生活的陈腐和平庸，以别样的方式为人们提供新的视野和体验；其二，创新还意味着不断地超越前人，创造出新的形式和新的风格。前者是艺术创新对外（社会的）启迪功能，后者是艺术创新对内（艺术自身的）变革的功能。For artistic creation,innovation has two fundamental meanings.One is that innovation means breaking the banality and mediocrity in daily life and provide people with new vision and experience in original ways.The other is that innovation represents constant surpassing the predecessors and creating new forms and styles.The former serves as enlightenment to society(outside world)while the latter functions as artistic innovation to the art itself(inside world).
  鉴于此，壹葉堂为拓展设计师/青年学子的创新能力，自今日将陆续邀请全球68国的322名设计师的佳作加以呈现，期望能在创作上为您开启一扇新的大门！for the reasons above,Yiyetang will progressively invite 322 designers from 68 countries in the world to display their works,aiming at expand the creative ability of designers and young students from today,we hope to help you open a new door in your creation.
